Abadha Mahaprasad of Shree Jagannath is not 56 bhog

Jay Jagannath, Hello everyone..I have seen a lot of people get confused between 56bhog and 60paunti. Also I have seen some people having the misconception of Mahaprasad being "56 bhoga" . So, this is an informational post for the above topic . THERE IS NO CONCEPT of "56 bhoga" in our Jagannath temple. "56 bhoga" is a thing of vrindavan side and mostly northen part of India. What we have , is "60 paunti". Now, mainly the Mahaprasad of the temple is devided into three types. . One is - Abadha Mahaprasad (The anna, dali, besara etc) Second is - The Dry Mahaprasad ( Sukhila Mahaprasad which is Chadhei nada, Khaja, pitha etc) Third is - All the Mahaprasad from Milk ( made from Milk ) Now if we combine all these 3 types of Mahaprasad we will have more than 200 types of Mahaprasad in the whole temple . But If we will exclusively talk about the "Abadha Mahaprasad" which is the first category i mentioned , it is of "60 types". 60 paunti is ..a way of measuring the quantity of Mahaprasad BUT it is ALSO the number of items We have in the Abadha Mahaprasad category. As long as we are talking about the actual "quantity" of the 60 paunti measurement... honeslty no one exactly knows it except for the "Mahasuar servitor" (the type of servitors who cook the Mahaprasad) . And they do not say openly about the exact "quantity" of the 60 paunti measurement. The reason being, it is the "kitchen of goddess mahalaxmi" herself . And you do not exactly disclose how much quantity a mother cooks for her children . So yeah, just a friendly post about the common misconception of "56 bhoga" and "60 paunti".
