  • Odia Audiobooks

Dear all, I am studying Odia on my own and there seems to be a general shortage of Odia audiobooks for us not-so-advanced learners who cannot possibly comprehend stuff from Odia literature proper. I was wondering if someone would be interested in crowd-funding the making of such audiobooks as Sherlock Holmes or some other Western or Russian fiction books translations of which are available in open source as PDFs? And I was also wondering if someone knows someone who might be interested in recording such? I probably won't be able to finance this project on my own (and if I get really desperate, start sparing on food and do, then none of you, stingy readers, will ever lay hands on that very private recording made for me!) so crowd-funding is in the best interest of all members our community of intermediate Odia students. There is just one short story about Sherlock Holmes in Odia on YouTube and, truth to be told, it is quite badly recorded (thanks to audio effects mainly, not to the abilities of the reader). For another thing, there isn't such a thing as Odia epub's, as far as I understand? Typing all of that is such a pain TBH...
