Descreasing Space for Discussion

It is a well known fact that Odisha related sub reddits are mostly dominated by Naveen Pattnaik admirers, which is understandable since he is one of the tallest leaders of this state and a statesman of highest order. What concerns me is that the folks here are actively reducing space for any critical analysis of his tenure. Any alternative idea or opinion is met with hostility, downvotes, and passive aggression. There is demand for unquestioned devotion, sometimes driven by disinformation too. I am afraid this beautiful sub reddit might turn into an echo chamber and we won't be able to help each other to be better informed about the entire political spectrum. While political discussions must be welcomed, let's not make an unconditional submission of overton window of political Odisha to Shri Naveen Pattnaik or BJP for that matter. Diverse opinion must be celebrated as much as we celebrate 2 decade plus rule of Pattnaik. Baki tama iccha.
