Baida deserves a chance among us.

This 2025, Odia movie industry will be on the roll. But in January it will be 2 promising movies . Rangashoor and Baida. Both are bad at marketing and I wish both to succeed which is downright tough. But I want to talk about Baida. I am inclined towards Baida because it is already a proven new approach. Odisha's first found footage movie. After 6-5=2 and Vazhiye, Odia filmmakers taking the risk to produce and release a Found footage film is truly commendable.. This year around December, I was in Kolkata's Nandan where Baida was playing. I missed it due to the timing and I was there to watch Godfather. But I came to know that Baida won a award at KIFF. Baida success means we have a chance to encourage film maker to move out of the typical Telegu influenced movie and give a platform to the aspiring Odia filmmakers. Take the recent poster of the short movie poster we saw on this sub. Bro if you see this, sorry I don't remember your name but great job. Point being, such filmmakers will get the inspiration definitely. I want you all to plan one of the two Odia movie this January. Rangashoor and Baida. Because our movies are currently promising. Baida's success means a new hope for Odia Cinema.
