Surajpur Wetlands - Sewage issue

Imagine a tradition, followed by migratory birds from all over North Asia for hundreds, probably thousands of years, broken within a few years because of us polluting their refuge. The wetlands saw barely any migratory birds this year ! To the govt: Don't we proudly proclaim 'Athithi Devo Bhava' ? Can't we atleast block the sewage from entering such a precious and fragile ecosystem ?
