Spamming my Graphic Novel & I Want to See your Own! Hi fellow Neets, Does anyone have any creative projects? Or do you draw / animate / 3D Model etc? If so, I would love to see them! I have my own Graphic Novel called 'Dragon Legacy' which I try updating at two pages per month, [https://tapas.io/series/Dragon-Legacy/info](https://tapas.io/series/Dragon-Legacy/info) It's an 'Australian Setting' Fantasy story with Dragons, people have compared it to 'Wings of Fire' but I started it long before I even knew what Wings of Fire was, though I suppose it is similar, with the setup being 'Dragon Clans hating... 3 0 replies
Do you guys enjoy anything I’ve been thinking about how I never had many interests or enjoyed things, I would always just do what my friends were doing at the time. I never liked anything in school, I always just wanted to get home and be alone. I’m 24 now and I just have such a hard time enjoying anything lmao, video games were only fun with my friends I can’t stand playing them anymore. Back in the day tho I would play video games every day with my friends and it was all... 1 3 replies
We are NEETs because you can't buy more Time 🕰️ No matter how hard you wage you can't buy more time. Once it's gone it's gone. When you are NEET you can use time towards whatever you please. Make it count. You gotta use what ya momma gave ya. 4 0 replies
Feels like some people hate us more than low level criminals The despise and judgment coming from some people are astounding. It’s either that or they see you as a charity case and start bombarding you with unsolicited/condescending advice. I truly wonder the logic behind this frame of mind. The jealousy argument doesn’t cut it for me. 8 0 replies
Need some advice. Ok. So I'm completely Aromantic, meaning I have zero romantic attraction or desire for a romantic relationship. That being said I am *not* asexual and I'm also asocial. I've been trying to find a genuine FWB for years now and the only 'luck' I've had is online. Not in person. How can I find a sexual partner without entering a loveless romantic relationship? 5 1 replies

My dog and cat love me Everyday my dog and cat run towards me, stand on two legs and hug me. They want me to hug them back and pet them. This happens several times a day. They are always happy to see me. This makes me believe that there is something good/valuable in me after all. If I'm gone no one in the house would treat them nearly as nicely as I do. I'm making a positive impact on someone's life, in a way. But then I think the reason they give me love... 9 0 replies

Scared of getting stuck Not sure if this really belongs here but anyway. I'm 21 and just dropped out of uni and moved back home because of mental health issues. After a bunch of diagnoses and meds over the past three years, I was finally diagnosed with BPD and generalised anxiety disorder. I'm on mood stabilizers and SSRIs, and I don't want to die anymore! I also struggled with severe health anxiety for the past year, which has gotten more managable too. But everything is still so difficult. Some days I can't get... 14 0 replies

Down and Out in Paris and London It is a feeling of relief, almost of pleasure, at knowing yourself at last genuinely down and out. You have talked so often of going to the dogs — and well, here are the dogs, and you have reached them, and you can stand it. It takes off a lot of anxiety. Born to be a NEET Anyone else feel like they were pretty much born to live the NEET life? Even as a child, I had zero idea of what I wanted to do later in life. Not even anything fantastical like becoming an astronaut or super hero. People would ask me what kind of job I would want to do later for school assignements and stuff. When I said "I don't know", they would say "but you HAVE to pick something", so I would make up excuse-answers. It's almost funny, because growing up on... 10 0 replies
Parents suck Some parents fail in life so they get children to try to succeed trough them. Either that or they'll blame their kid for ruining their career and ruin their childhood with their unconscious resentment. For example a woman is failing at becoming an athlete because of her own personal failings and gets pregnant because at the heat of the moment, she and her partner didn't use condoms. Then she chooses to have the child(her own choice when abortion and all kinds of contraceptives exist) and uses their pregnancy as... 9 0 replies
