I’m so jaded

I saw this amazing Japanese movie called perfect days that's really cozy and stuff and tried to live like him for a while. But then later I realized his life is only possibly because he's a Japanese living in Japan. His whole life revolves around physically moving around a safe, clean, quiet urban city. He performs transactions in person that are undramatic and without anxiety. It's just something that I can't do where I live and it just really pissed me off when I realized it. It's framed as like oh you can do this too except no you can't unless you live in Japan. It's actually a movie about how Japan or Tokyo is awesome, but kind of hides that fact. Ok that's all I just wanted to vent.
