Anyone else got bullied at work? How did you handle it? Would you do anything differently now?

I remember I was a contractor at one job and everyone was going to lunch. There was an older guy who was like somehow the presumptive ring leader. The coworkers had asked me to join them so I was like ok but the older guy didn't like me and asked them, who's this? And I introduced myself to him, but the way I did it was I was a bit offended that he didn't ask me and his group was all women so I think he was mad that a man had joined his harem. Anyway as a result I was uninvited lol. I don't think I ever went to lunch with them, that day or any other day. It's like I'm a man so I'm not invited and I'm not big so nobody feels the need to respect me. Anyway that's a story I remembered today but I have a million more. Anyone else want to share some?
