Why did Fr. Agnel complex and remove its "secular" sign?

When I was walking to college today, I realised how vashi was probably one of the most secular and inclusive city of Navi Mumbai. Jain Mandir, Gurudwara, Mosque & Hindu temples with various cultural Bhavans all in same area coexisting peacefully. I thought I'll post this thought on reddit. Then when I reached my college, I saw they changed the sign. Till few days ago, it was a cross, a om🕉️ and a crescent moon merged together. But now, it's just the cross. Im genuinely curious, why? Is the college not secular or inclusive anymore? Or does this mean nothing?
