  • What should I do?

I took admission in diploma in pharmacy after my HSC but I had several gap years between SSC and HSC because of financial reasons but then I finally managed to take admission in 2023 now the course is of 2years so soon I will be having my finals but I made a mistake by doing it from a private institute rather than a proper college..... I took admission in an institute which admits you in a Karnataka University college but all the studies and practicals takes place at the institute(Mumbai )only for exams we need to visit Bangalore.... but here I was asked to pay 110k for the entire course inclusive of books journals and travelling to staying expenses of Bangalore..... I chose their EMI option and I paid my own fees by working here and their as I also earn for my family..... today I went to fill the hall ticket form and the management asked me if I have cleared all the dues which I did so I told them yes I did, they took out the register to verify it.....now they're saying your fees was not 110k but 160k and you're yet to pay 50k..... I was shocked so they showed me the register I told them that when I took the admission the counselor back then broke down the entire fees structure so my mother negotiated it to 110k and the counselor agreed because if it would have been 160k I would not have been able to afford it.....they said the counselor left the institute she's married now and as you can see she was the one entered your name here with all the details as we have not entered any details of 2023 batch..... I checked the register again and I saw my name and all the details was written over a whitener.... I got suspicious but I didn't wanted to create a scene as I can't risk anything with my documents because I want to pursue a degree soon....so I told them please contact the previous counselor and ask her.....they said we will do that don't worry but if she denies then you have to pay 10k in 2days or else you won't be able to attend the exams and it will cost you a year.....that thing just froze me because I'm 23yo right now and I can't be in college till I'm 30....so on the way back home I was depressed af but then I thought should I just drop out? Because now I need to pay 10k then again they will ask for money.....and there's no way I can pay 10k in 2days.....but I've paid them 110k..... What should I do? Should I prioritize my year or the money? TLDR: institute asking for more money after I cleared my dues and if I won't pay it will cost me a year...So I'm considering dropping out.... Should I prioritize my money or my year?
