Have you noticed how people don’t really bond, connect or talk over “social media”?

The devolution of social media to social validation media really intrigues me, specially as a 90s kid. It’s not a random fact that we now have to “follow” people instead of sending them friend requests. Bhai, log baat hi nahi karte ek dusre se!! It’s all about look how happy I am, what I have achieved, look at my partner, I got married. Whatever happened to connecting with strangers you found interesting?! About expanding your social circle? Yes, that is one of the primary reasons why social media was created. People become friends from strangers when you talk to them. The fact that people say we don’t want to talk to strangers sounds funny as hell to me! Tum kya dosto ke saath paida hue the kya?! Anybody who connects with this?
