Duplicate Marksheet - RTMNU

I completed my BE from Nagpur university (KITS Ramtek) in 1995. I have misplaced my first year mark sheet. I am living in US and cannot travel in person to request for the duplicate mark sheet. Please can some suggest a someone from my family in India can collect this mark sheet from the university. Will the university give the mark sheet to a person with my authorization letter? Any help be very appreciated.
