The Trash Fire Still Burns

It’s been nearly a week since the trash hill caught fire, and the air quality keeps getting worse. Thick smoke hangs over the area, making it harder to breathe with each passing day. Elders and children are suffering the most, yet there’s still no decisive action from those responsible. Why hasn’t this been dealt with? How much longer do we have to endure this before someone steps in and puts an end to this disaster? Coughing as I type this—frustrated, exhausted, and out of patience. PS: It’s still burning and emitting toxic smoke as I type this.
