Any recommendations for enjoying the first year celebration in Mysore

Hi, I am planning to celebrate the 31.12.24 /01.01.25 in Mysore with my german family. We have 3 Kids (13,11 and 8 years). What are the best places and things to do there as foreigners? For dinner? For enjoying some celebrations outside? Best regards from Munich
