Took me 5 mins to cross a road near Crawford 😭

Is it just me or has Mumbai traffic gotten very very hostile towards pedestrians? The other day I was near Crawford market and it took me ages to cross the road because vehicles refused to stop or slow down at all. This was not my experience in Mumbai previously and drivers used to be more courteous even 1-2 years ago. These days I get a mini panic attack every time I have to cross the road. 🥲 The city has become incredibly unliveable these past couple of years and the pollution has gotten so much worse. The only thing that always set Mumbai apart for me was its people and it seems like even the people have become impatient and rude nowadays. Can’t wait to get out of city life tbh.
