The relentless passage of time

This year end is proving to be much harder than I anticipated. But there is no escape, the only way out is through. So I'll go through this no matter what it takes. 2024 was... a lot. Just like every year before it and every year to come. What changes is only the numbers on my calendar and the age I fill in forms. I am tired. Nay, exhausted. But staying alive is a full time job and I am nothing if not a sincere and hardworking employee. I hope everyone has fun tonight, and welcomes the new year with grace. Me, I really wish to stop acknowledging this ruthless passage of time, but I will see you on the other side.
