Pollution is really bad this year

Took this today morning, don’t know if my air purifier was bugging or is the pollution really that bad. For context, I live in front of a garden and the house windows were wide open. Yes, I can see the smog from my house, but can’t really comprehend it being that bad. If the pollution is really bad then this is going to fuck up the health of so many people. Found out from Redditor yesterday that virals piggy back off pollution which kinda explains why everyone is sick in Mumbai with a runny nose, sore throat etc. is this city that we love slowly killing us? :(
