New to Mumbai - Need help for house hunting

Hi Mumbaikers, I am moving to Mumbai from Bangalore next month for work and starting to look for places to stay. Please help me with what areas should I be looking for flats, what would be the typical budget for single room ( fully or unfurnished) and any hacks to speed up the process of finalizing a flat My office would be in Equinox Business Park, Kurla West and mostly prefer to keep the travel to 30min (one way) as I would have to commute to office daily. Shoot 1. Areas I should look for flat considering travel time, convenience, amenities, budget (ofcourse) 2. Any sources that would be super helpful - I was planning to use facebook (flat & flatmates and couple of friends I have in Mumbai to leverage broker contacts). I heard Mumbai is known for the kind, compassionate people....so please prove it right 😁 Thanks a ton.
