Is this the case with most gyms in Mumbai?

I recently enrolled at Fitness First gym in Santacruz West. The property is fairly new and located at a prime location. The prices are really high (₹45,900 for a year) but somehow the sales rep and the manager lured me into purchasing the membership. The issue is that I'm a beginner (I had worked out almost a decade ago at a gymkhana I'm a member of, and most of my memory for use of equipment has faded). The floor trainers do not pay heed to the clients whatsoever, they are just on their phones. The sales rep and the manager did not specify that training is NOT included in the above-mentioned subscription and the personal trainers are pitching at me to shell out another 53k annually. My question : are all the gyms in the western suburbs this expensive?
