How to Impress My Boyfriend from Mumbai During the Holidays

Namaskar! I live in Los Angeles and my boyfriend is a student attending college here. He's unable to visit his family in Mumbai during the college's holiday break, so I want to bring Mumbai to him and help him feel less home sick. We have Indian bakeries and grocery stores, so I want to have popular snacks, candy, and treats in stock in the kitchen for him to enjoy as well as cook him some flavorful dishes from home. I'd love to hear everyone's suggestions and make this a holiday break for him to remember. His allergies are dairy and gluten.
