Serious question: Is ANYONE in favour of BMC’s 74,000 crore “Mumbai Eye” ferris wheel project? Everyone I have spoken to is against this project. I am just wondering, is anyone except the BMC in favour of this project? No doubt they will make a lot of money off this project, while we will be under more years of construction and dust. The air quality is so bad in our city, what will people even be able to see from this ferris wheel?! And if we, the residents of Mumbai, do not want this, can we not stop it from happening? I think everyone agrees... 2 3 replies
CollegePond Review (Very Disappointing) It is a Mumbai based counselling agency that provides overseas application assistance for undergrad/graduate programs. Most of their clients are from Mumbai Universities. Very unbiased and real opinion. Save yourself the money waste and mental anxiety that comes from going with these guys. Counselors: Each and every counselor is sub par. None of them were helpful and were EXTREMELY rude and would not listen to anything I had to say. 2 counselors literally shouted on the phone and this has been experienced by 4 more friends who took their... 5 0 replies
Mumbai with my eyes? I recently visited Mumbai exactly after 10 years. Before 10 years I came for Visa stuff and rn also I came there for Visa Stuff. I was not there for even one day. Around 8 months in mumbai so fairly new to the place. 1 0 replies
Hike in cab/auto fare became too expensive. The recent hike has made my commute so expensive. The expense for the part of the cab I take in my commute has increased and my shitty workplace do not give WFH. I have to spend an extra 1 hour than require to match AC time is killing me honestly. The BUS is so crowded that my soul cries everyday in the morning. I do not even have soft corner for my workplace...they are brutally frauds. Also profit for operator per km should be in the range of ₹15-18... 4 0 replies

Travelling to Mumbai with family (3 kids under 10) from U.K. Hello, I’m travelling to Mumbai in fours days’ time with my family. We’ll be in Mumbai for 5 nights before flying to Kerala, and just wanted some advice from locals. At the airport, can I just get a cab to my hotel (about 30 mins from airport) or do I need to pre book. Thinking of food, when we are out and about during the day, what do people do for food and specifically, what can we do for food so that we avoid getting ill! Thank you 🙏... 5 0 replies

Abused an Uncle for Spitting Water from His Car—Was I Justified? After a rough month, my friend and I went for a ride to clear our minds. On an empty road, a car in front suddenly slowed down and lowered his window. I was on the right side of his vehicle and a little behind him when the driver, a man in his 40s, casually spat water right in front of us. Luckily, none of it landed on us, but the sheer audacity was infuriating. What made it worse? His expression. He looked proud of what he did, like he... 2 0 replies
Kartik Aryan's Bodyguard pushed me for no reason at all. I had gone to watch interstellar at PVR Juhu today (Sunday 9th Feb @7:20pm) and as I was going through parking to catch the elevator, i was about to cross a black car(I think it was a range rover) by its back seat door, a big fat guy in a black clothes came to open the door(I was right besides that door), he pushed my chest with his elbow and a man with big beard acting like he was very important sat in the car right as I was... 1 0 replies
Question about reporting illegal people on foothpath. I came across a post where someone asked how to anonymously report to BMC. And 1 comment had a site in it. I want to make a complaint about some homeless people living on a very wide footpath who have somehow manage to occupy the whole footpath making it bit unpleasant for pedestrians to reach the metro station. The road beside the footpath is a busy road which is also a free left hence constantly there are vehicles moving. The whole footpath stinks due to these people shitting openly.... 3 0 replies
Moved Into My Own Place in Mumbai—Feeling Exploited and Drained 35F, shifting into my own rented place in Mumbai, and this entire experience has been an eye-opener on how mean people can be. My previous broker has harassed us over house inspections, nitpicking over things that are in perfect condition. He’s charging us for “repairing” a mattress that doesn’t need fixing and insisting the AC should have been serviced quarterly (when we did it semi-annually). On top of that, when I vacated, I gave the security guards a bag full of clothes, yet they still kept hounding me for... 2 3 replies
