I danced alone on the platform while I was waiting for the local train. Idk why I did this. I didn't care about anything. For 15-20 seconds I danced while listening to "Uff Teri Adaa". People just stared at me. I wasn't drunk or high or anything. I did this because I was just sad about a lot of things going on in life. One of them being, my mother's sad because of family dramas (vohi ghar ke kalesh), another thing being that I'm yet to get an internship (I'm a first year MBA student) and the last thing being that there's a... 5 15 replies
Looking for Career Advice as a 26F Trek Leader Transitioning to a New Path Hey everyone I’m a 26F who has spent the last 8 years living in the mountains and working as a freelance trek leader. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’ve built a deep connection with nature while leading others on adventures. However, the reality is that freelance life isn’t sustainable for me anymore. I’m finding it harder to make ends meet and want to shift into something that provides more financial stability and growth. While I’m grateful for my time in the mountains, I know it’s time to look... 2 0 replies
[Warning: superstitious] does anyone know a powerful baba or similar person in the city? Hello, I am a 19m from kandivali and usually never believed in black magic even tho my grandma talked about it all the time, up until the death of my father who was young and died terribly. A relative (my grandmas sister) was sitting and doing gestures like tying a thread with her pinky finger and laughing hysterically like an anime villain. My dad did have history of seeing things which was diagnosed as schizophrenia but apparently shit was more than hallucinations after all. My grandfather is experiencing similar... 4 12 replies

Want to get my first suit made. Where can I get it done within a reasonable budget? More questions: I already have a black blazer, but it's a wedding of my cousin whom I'm really close to, so it's not gonna cut it. I've decided on a charcoal gray suit, probably single breasted, as it'll be more versatile. Where in Navi Mumbai could I get it made within reasonable price? Additionally, should I get it tailored, or should I get a suit altered to my size? (I am a slightly short man, 5'6", average build, so regular suits might be a bit too large). What pattern or material... 2 6 replies

Feeling lost and frustrated My mom and dad are alcoholics and I feel like I just never experienced the love from parents like a normal person does. This has traumatised me emotionally to a point that every time I meet my boyfriend’s parents or any parents, I feel like I’m missing and have lost out on so much in life. I have been living in Navi Mumbai <> Dubai as my father runs an impex business. This business has taken a toll on his health and he’s now bedridden but still continues to... 1 11 replies
Guys who visit barber shop for anything other than baal cutting remember to check the expiry date. This has happened to me so many times, but recently, I visited a place in Vashi, Sector 29, where the guy insisted I get a de-tan treatment. I told him, “Next time” While I was looking at one of his products that he was thopping to another customer, I was shocked to see that it was expired. When I confronted him, he casually said, ‘Bhaiyya, woh dabba purana hai, maal naya hai.’ I checked two or three more of his products, and all of them were the same expired... 2 3 replies
Celebrated my mom's birthday away from home with the people who deserve all the respect and appreciation for feeding me. So, last month it was my mom's birthday and I celebrated it with the mess staff of my MBA college. It's a ritual which my mother and I have started from the past many years where we will do something special for the poor/needy or the people who deserve appreciation and recognition. So I called my mother on her birthday and told her that I want to celebrate her birthday with the mess staff of my MBA college. Ordered 3 cakes for around 18-20 people (sufficient ho gaya tha... 1 2 replies

Do you think no. of rickshaws on our roads have increased way too much The no. of rickshaws have increased way too much I feel. I think this is not good because these don't even know how to drive properly. They enter spaces where only bikes have spaces. These rickshaws drive way to close near other vehicles. Sudden u turns when they see passengers on other side of the road , driving slowly on the road when they don't have any passengers. 2 0 replies
