Why is HR so overhyped?
I know it's a college with CAs and chill attendance, but even for unaided courses, the crowd feels so non-engaging and unfriendly. The majority of the students are SoBo Gujus and in my class alone, 38 people were part of RCHR during their JC. They have their own unofficial group and barely attend college. Even the other classmates don't seem to get along well. And don't even get me started on the club culture. The amount of work they make you do, combined with the ego of some club seniors, is insane. Not all clubs are bad, but I joined Enactus at the start of my first sem. While their projects are somewhat good, I found the crowd and seniors to be annoying and overly loud. I guess I couldn’t adjust to the new environment or step out of my comfort zone. I was in a different junior college where I had a good social life and friends. I still keep in touch with my school/area friends, but something feels missing. Maybe I set unrealistically high expectations for college or overwhelmed myself by trying to do everything at once. I do have 2-3 good friends at HR, though. Just wanted to rant. I’ll focus on my studies and upskilling next semester. There’s this comment from u/LeatherPhilosophy783 that perfectly describes HR's environment... https://www.reddit.com/r/mumbai/s/W81qdRURwE And yeahh shouldn't be complaining more as I got in through quota 😅5
