Tormented and Confused about how to deal with this situation.

So my elder brother has a lot of financial levity and has recently made huge promotions and making good income. My confusion begins is that we own a shop in 50/50 ownership and from the past 4 years he is running that shop and getting some rent out of it. For the past year and a half I have moved out and he is taking care of my parents back home but mind you financially my father gets a monthly pension of around ₹65K. I have my own struggles so I am confused and tormented to ask for some benefits of the half ownership of this shop or am I doing something wrong? And I have paid half of the amount for the shop so should I have this conversation or should I not ?
