Passport Verification Issue

I recently applied for a passport, and during police verification, the officers requested my parents' birth certificates or school leaving certificates (LC). However, my mother's school LC does not mention her place of birth, and when we tried to obtain her birth certificate, government officials stated that birth certificates are not issued for individuals born before 1980. Regarding my father, he has an expired passport issued in the 1990s, but the name and date of birth on it differ from those on his Aadhaar card. Additionally, the passport was obtained through by bribing a local MLA. Will my father's passport cause any issues if I attempt to renew it, update the details, and submit it for my verification? Also, what alternative documents can I provide for my parents' birth verification?
