Looking for Career Advice as a 26F Trek Leader Transitioning to a New Path
Hey everyone I’m a 26F who has spent the last 8 years living in the mountains and working as a freelance trek leader. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’ve built a deep connection with nature while leading others on adventures. However, the reality is that freelance life isn’t sustainable for me anymore. I’m finding it harder to make ends meet and want to shift into something that provides more financial stability and growth. While I’m grateful for my time in the mountains, I know it’s time to look beyond this lifestyle and explore career opportunities that can offer both financial security and personal fulfillment. I’m wondering if anyone has advice on making a career transition from something like trekking and outdoor leadership into something that offers more stability and growth, but still lets me feel connected to nature or something fulfilling. If you’ve made a similar shift or have any suggestions for jobs or industries I should look into, I’d really appreciate your input! Thanks!2
