Size too big ?

Bought L size shifter gloves from viaterra and now I'm not sure whether it's the correct size or not . The area that I'm pinching is where my fingers don't reach. So this much space is normal or should I ask for a medium? I ordered the gloves based on my circumference but length wise it's big.
