Is this worth it?

So I was looking to buy the new classic 350 24’ series. I’ve recently learnt to ride a bike and my family is suggesting that I should buy this and practice for a month or so. And Sell it to the showroom for a discount on the purchase of the new bike. This belongs to an Uncle in our society, he’s a news reporter so he hasn’t used it much. It has approx 36k Kms on it. He’s saying it has approx 1-1.5 years left on it as it’s very old and the asking price is 45000. It’s a 500cc so Is it worth the purchase and any other things I should keep in mind and any other advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
