Is this Engine knocking sound expected?

This is my first bike. It's a Royal Enfield Meteor 350. I am new to the biking world. Just after even 1 minute of riding, after turning the bike off, the engine makes such ticking sound. Is it normal? Does this mean the engine is heating very quickly?
