Delhi-Nainital on lord SP125

Went on a road trip to Bhimtal, Nainital and Pangot on my friend's SP125 and he was riding my XMR. Total distance came out around 717km As for ride quality, the stock seat cushioning is a bit on the stiff side on the SP, so my bums were hurting quite a lot during longer detours. Cruising speed was a comfortable-ish 85-90kmph(i was on 40% throttle) but some difficulties when trying to overtake vehicles. One thing I gotta tell is that this was the drum version so obv brake bite was practically non existent on higher speeds. I was using 60% engine braking and 40% traditional brake for braking and it worked quite effectively, especially when going from 3rd to 2nd gear(pls tell me how this stuff works, downshifting from 3rd to 2nd, the engine braking was so powerful it was comparable to a disc bike).
