Why ather scooters are relatively costly compared to other ev brands?

Looking to buy an ev scooter, observed that athers are costly compared to other scooters with similar battery and range capacity, can someone who works in the industry or who has deep technical knowledge about EVs clarify if ather uses different type of battery technology which makes it stand out?
