Honda Neo-retro bike based on the Hornet 2.0 has been patented in India.
Honda has patented a neo-retro bike in India based on the Hornet 2.0. The expected specs are going to be approximately the same as the existing Hornet 2.0 and its mini-ADV derivative, the CB200X. Power - 17.26PS @ 8500 rpms. Torque - 15.9Nm @ 6500 rpms. Wheels - 17" front/rear. Brakes - petal discs, 276mm front and 220mm rear Nissin brakes with single-channel ABS. As a Hornet 2.0 owner, this makes me happy and safe at the same time. I'm happy that Honda is taking this platform seriously. I'm sad because Honda refuses to upgrade it. Interestingly, this engine has been used in a number of Jobs bikes in China including the CBF190TR. I've included a couple of images of that bike. What do you guys think of this?3
