Got my shawty! last week..

Hey everyone, happy New Year! I just got my first bike, and I’m a total noob when it comes to maintenance. Any tips or advice for keeping her in top shape would be greatly appreciated! I’m also looking for beginner-friendly and affordable riding gear. Suggestions for helmets, jackets, gloves, and boots that won’t break the bank would be awesome. Lastly, I’ve noticed the bike tends to heat up quite a bit since it’s brand new. Is this normal, or should I be concerned? Thanks in advance for your help!
