CFMOTO might come back to India with their new lineup (a big if)
(Image Credits: CFMoto USA) Okay as crazy as it sounds let me tell you why and how exactly this might turn out to be true. 1) All Indian Auto journalists have been invited for the CFMOTO event that is going on currently in Portugal. The Indian media didn’t cover the 450s when they launched but the 675 is getting the attention along with the 700MT Autocar India covering a CFMOTO event screams legit and Powerdrift too. 2) The Indian Wing of CFMOTO is clearing their existing inventory at slashed prices to get rid of existing inventory. My friend knows someone who owns a 300NK and the service person has mentioned that they might reopen new showrooms in select locations to cater people who are looking for CFMOTO bikes. 3) That service technician was asked by the Hyderabad CFMOTO Showroom to look for more good technicians who are good with KTM Engines which is very promising in confirming this since CFMOTO engines are basically engineering offshoots of KTM engines so they share the knowhow when it comes to repair. Which also suggests that they are quite serious about the brand in India this time. 4) Brands like Brixton are making their foray into the Indian market so seems like the right time for CFMOTO to give India another shot. They’re miles ahead of all other Chinese Bike manufacturers and to even think they make KTM Engines at such good world standards is honestly bizarre yet very convincing for the end users. Given the typical “Chinese” Quality but now that they make actual world class products worth the money they might actually turn out to be a good alternative for Japanese and European high displacement bikes. 5) Indian Market is accepting the price tag that goes along with a good displacement bike and its experience. You’d be laughed out of a Aprilia showroom 9 years ago if you said they’d figure out Indian buyers but they actually did and launched the 457 twins and they are garnering all the media and bikers attention so adding in CFMoto to the mix seems like the right thing. Would you consider a CFMoto Bike if they ever launched it back again? (Let’s assume it’s the Sexy 450SR, 675SS, 750MT and the 450NK) What are your thoughts on CFMoto?2
