And they say auxiliary lights on bikes are illegal
Stopped by for the view and cool breeze. Time is around 10PM. Realised how dark it was and made a video. Mind you this is a national highway with sudden diversion signs due to ongoing construction and steep fall on the left side. I never got fined but I've heard people getting fined here for auxiliary lights even if they're covered (5k inr). Well, looking at this, why wouldn't anyone install them. Stock headlamps are useless above 50-60kmph. There are strays on the highways (people and animals alike) and i had my share of near misses to convince myself to install them. Either I can save myself or be afraid of getting fined and the choice is obvious. All I can do here is learn the police checkpoints and turn them off when I'm near them. Daytime i keep them covered with provided covers and nightime I use them with yellow filter and only use them in pitch black situation like these.3
