Neutering cats near my house

hey guys, Do people here neuter cats that roam around and sometimes go to people's houses for food? Are there rescue groups here? I have a two cats I want to have neutered but I dont have a car and I live in Ganjimutt which is a bit far from the clinics I see in the Mangalore city area. I guess taking them in a rickshaw is the only option now because I dont think car owners would agree for it. Are there any other options?
