Mangalore to Goa by own vehicle necessary documents

Hi all! As the title goes, I’m planning a trip with my family from Mangalore to Goa and back in our own vehicle. Besides the usual documents, RC, Insurance, PUC certificate and DL; are there any other documents one would need to carry while crossing the border? What are some things that one would need to be aware of while travelling to Goa especially in their own vehicle? It’d be really helpful if anyone who’s travelled recently to and from Mangalore to Goa could share their experience!
