Is Joining a Hostel a Solution?

I am 10th grader and since my boards are in 1 month and my parents are like if don't get above 85% they are sending me to Karkala Jnanasudha hostel and till my colleage I will stay there?I am a type of lazy guy and depends on others is it good for Me?
