Mescom transformer - distance to be maintained from home

Does any know as per regulation what is the minimum distance Mescom has to maintain between transformer and a house? I see that they are replacing from traditional two pole systems to spun pole system in many areas across Mangalore. So wanted to understand the regulation in case they decide to change the location and put something near my place. I tried searching the internet as well as looked at Mescom site, did not find anything relevant.
