An safe not so crowded parkin spot in Mangalore

I am going out of town for the weekend and wanted to park my car,I am taking a train,so I wanted to know if there is any parking area that has free parkin and is relatively safe,I has seen KMC parking grounds,but that looks pretty shady at night
