Racism against Indians in the US and what it means to us, in my opinion
Over merely one week, the MAGA split between loving Indians and hating on Indians after appointment of Sriram as AI expert in the Trump admin. Unlike the Indian liberals, the American liberals don't protest against lateral entry so Trump is able to fill in the best talent in his admin. It was all fine until VP elect JD Vance is married to a Hindu woman, Vivek Ramaswamy of DOGE and Kash Patel of FBI are descendants of Indians. Tulsi Gabbard has nothing to do with India but has adopted herself into Hinduism. All hell broke lose in some sections of MAGA after appointment of Sriram who was born in India and then became an American citizen. Note that Elon Musk who will be working on DOGE was also born in South Africa but it was all okay since he is White. This essentially boils down to racism as the only reason Sriram has gotten some hate from some sections of MAGA. This sudden racism against Indians in the US is different from racism in other countries. In Canada or Australia, Indians are hated for lacking civic sense. In Europe and UK, racism against Indians is secondary since their first focus is on Pakistanis and middle easterners. In the US, the racism is due to jealousy - Indian Americans are of the highest median income group, usually high IQ. Now, with the names mentioned above and Indian Americans being in power is why the racism is coming out. In my opinion, racism due to jealousy is good racism and shows that we are winning! It only pains me a bit how much talent we lose to the US instead of channelizing it in our own land.I would rather have loved to have Sriram work in an Indian corporation and build AI, and then work for Indian government instead of the US government; but given the protest against lateral entry by UPSCtards it was practically impossible.2
