Please suggest if a day trip to Igatpuri makes sense and other recommendations for the trip
Hello. We are a group of 8 people. This includes one 3-year-old and my mother who has knee pain and cannot walk much due to health issues. This is our plan. We will be in a 10-seater traveller. Start and end date is fixed due to functions we need to attend. 1. 26 Feb: Leave from Mumbai to Alibaug in the morning (9 AM). Reach there, enjoy. 2. 27 Feb: Enjoy first half in Alibaug. Reach MTDC Bhimashankar resort in the evening (any issues in travel after dark?) 3. 28 Feb: Jyotirlinga darshan, leave for Nasik (anything on the way that we can visit or just take a view?) 4. 1st March: Jyotirlinga darshan, local darshan 5. 2nd March: Pandav Leni caves 3. 3rd March: Leave for surat, reach by 4 PM (anything on the way?) So, I was exploring if we can go to Igatpuri for one day from Nasik. But not sure if there is much to do since my parents won't be able to walk much. Is it enjoyable for day trip if they can't walk a lot? They don't want to visit full day, so it's okay if they can't enjoy everything, but don't want them to just feel tired without enjoying anything. Also, please suggest any places that we can visit here, any pit stops that are worth it, any vegetarian food suggestions, or any tourist spot to avoid.5
