Why have they not shown in the movie that Sambhaji did joined hands with Mughals albiet briefly in 1679. Proof is my 4th std Maharashtra state board History Textbook (2009 edition). It is a fact that Sambhaji fought the Battle of Bhuplagarh by siding with Mughals in 1679, just a year before Maharaj's death in 1680. This was a severe blow to Maharaj's emotional health. The question is why did Sambhaji sided with Mughals against the Chhatrapati himself? Now don't say it was Congress-era History Book, because Cheif Minister in 2009 was Ashok Chavan, who is now in BJP. Find this book on ebalbharti website.
