USB microphone security

Hey guys, I have a MacBook Air and I bought a Boya Boyalink microphone. I found out after a while that the microphone is from a Chinese brand. Do you think it is safe to connect the microphone to my Mac? I’m a bit paranoid about security of my devices. Anyway I have connected it before I found out it was a Chinese mic, so potential damage has already been done. Thank you!
