Turn off the "scaling" effect entirely when using QuickLook

Is there a way to completely deactivate the zoom in/out scaling effect that Mac OS performs on files you QuickLook? I routinely use a screen sharing application (Teradici PCoIP client) to connect from my home Mac to my work Mac (both running the latest OS and new computers) and while the connection is usually pretty good, it \*always\* stutters whenever I try to Quicklook an item through Finder. The same goes for the "Genie/Scaling" effect when you minimize a window into the dock. A whole series of unnecessary pixels are created just to animate the window up and down. Can it be completely deactivated? Some kind of Accessibility option maybe?
