Trying to run Quicktime 7 for an Interactive Game

I've been troubleshooting over the past couple of days trying to run a Quicktime 7 interactive game. Does anyone have any advice? I've tried running a Windows version of Quicktime 7 through my trusted emulator, Whisky. After installation, the software says I need to download "Apple Application Support" (which is included in the installer on the Apple website), so it won't open any files. I've also tried running it through VLC media player, but it doesn't support the file's interactive aspects. Let me know if anyone has any good tutorials or words of wisdom! I haven't found much information on this since 2012.
