Sharing droplet apps across user accounts?
I have a `VLC Droplet.app` that allows me to launch multiple VLC windows from Finder. Been working fine for years. Now I want to be able to use it on a different user account on the same MacBook but that's not working fine at all. My main account? Works great. My (two) other accounts? Not so much. > You can't open the application "VLC Droplet.app" because it may be damaged or incomplete. Now I've tried a bunch of things. Like: - 'Ctrl+Click' to open (doesn't let me open it like it does other untrusted apps). - Disabled Gatekeeper (set it to "Anywhere" after running `sudo spctl --master-enable`). - Set permission on the app (gave Everyone "Read & Write" access). - Manually set permissions `chmod -R 777` to the app. - Deleted a bunch of files from /var/folders (solution to a similar issue I found online). But no luck. Always that same message. Does anyone know what's going on and how I could fix it? (Same exact thing happens when I make the droplet from the other accounts; that account can use it but not the other ones. So technically I could make three different droplets with different names but that seems so dumb I'd really rather figure out what's wrong and how to fix it.)4
