Saving up memory

Hey, I have an M1 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM. When I open between 6-7 Chrome tabs, my memory usage gets to 12GB. Can anyone recommend me a better browser to use than Chrome in terms of memory usage? I don’t want to use swap memory for the long term since the SSD is irreplaceable.
