Safari download overwrites files with same name

I just updated to Sequoia 15.2. When I was on Sonoma (and every version of Mac OS X prior), if I would download a file with the same name the file would automatically append a number: filename.txt filename-2.txt filename-3.txt Now the file is silently overwritten. After three downloads I end up with a single file that is the most recent version: filename.txt The file contents are different in each download so this is effectively losing information with no warning. Is there a configuration I am missing? EDIT: I just confirmed this is specific to Safari (currently running Version 18.2 (20620.1.16.11.8)) as Chrome will append a version number: filename.txt filename (1).txt filename (2).txt
