Report Notchless Resolution to Apps?

I'm on an Air M3 running 15.2. It has a notch. Without the notch, the screen resolution is 2880x1800; with the notch, vertical resolution goes up to 1864, but with a notch out of it. Problem is, a lot of games (ones from Zachtronics and Draknek in particular) auto-detect the resolution in fullscreen, and the vertical resolution they detect is 1864 rather than 1800. They scale their own picture to that ratio, then macOS cuts off the notched bits and either cuts off part of the game with them or scales the screen down to fit under the notch (which usually scales down the _primary_ desktop as well for some reason. My imagined solution is some utility or setting (could be paid, but no more than a few dollars once-off) to make apps read 2880x1800 as the fullscreen resolution rather than 2880x1864. Does such a utility or setting exist?
